Tick Treatment Program:
The first step to a safe, thorough treatment is to inspect
and identify all potential hosting sights. A treatment
plan has several considerations and phases. What needs
to be treated, and what landscapings can be changed to
lessen the potential for ticks to harborage. When treatments
are done they are timed per the growth stage of the ticks.
First treatment is in April for the adult stage who were
dormant all winter long. May treatment is for a nymph stage,
August is for a larval stage and October for the adult
stage prior to over wintering. Chemical treatments done
per label rates. We offer conventional and organic treatment
Mosquito Control Programs:
Property inspection. Treatment plan to harborage areas, landscape work to alter problem areas when possible.
Services include identification of active areas, access points, trap or poison trap settings, follow-up(s), maintenance programs, on call services.
Bat removal is based on the upper levels of a building were bats have or can enter any opening found. Opening sizes can be as small as 3/8" and larger. A bat removal and exclusion job is based on finding all possible openings, and the active openings where the bats have colonized. All non active areas must be decoratively and permanently sealed prior to setting up a one way door system to allow the bats to leave but not able to return. Most bats are very territorial and will try to re-enter a structure once an exclusion job has started which makes it imperative to find all other possible entrances. Check DEP's web site @ dep.state.ct.us and click on appropriate pictures.

for any job. Life time warranties on all stainless and
copper chimney caps. Please call for a FREE evaluation
/ inspection of your chimney needs. Keep raccoons, squirrels,
bats, birds, and other unwanted animals out of your chimney
Wall and Ceiling Noises:
Noises are most common from fall into spring time. There
are seven animals and rodents on the list of prospective
culprits - bats, raccoons, grey squirrels, red squirrels,
flying squirrels, mice and rats. Depending on the location(s)
of noise we can figure out which is the most likely species.
On our initial visit we will fully inspect all attics, roof
lines, basements, crawl spaces, exterior lower foundation
perimeter areas for all entry points, and give a proposal
for work needed with all written guarantees.
Termite Treatment and Control:
Termite prevention can range from a yearly inspection with
no treatments, to placing a Termite Monitoring System in
the ground around the exterior perimeter of the building.
When Termites are found active in a structure, chemical applications
can be made to the soil, or infested wood members. The chemicals
we use are non-repellent to the Termites and have a history
of high success in complete elimination of the colony. The
Termites themselves through their natural movement in their
colony transfer these non-repellent products. The working
cast of the colony is the first cast to collapse. Without
these workers the rest of the colony soon collapses as well.
Most of the timelines for this is around 3-6 months.
New Home Termite Pre-Treatments:
A new home can be built with many new termite shields, and / or composite woods which make it difficult and near impossible for termites to enter or damage a structure. We can give you the information on where to look up the information.
Chemical pre-treatments can be done
to specific soil areas of a structure were termite vulnerability
is high. All chemicals used are EPA registered in CT and
NY and applied per label rate. Special considerations are
always taken when dealing with high water tables, wells,
cisterns and wetlands.
